Meet Brigitte Caduff....
"The purpose of the met centre is to be here for the people, to create & maintain a space where you feel at home..."
Having been educated in all aspects of hospitality, Brigitte & her husband, Fortunat turned their backs on a very successful restaurant and career in Europe to opt for a complete change. In 1999 they packed the bags and came to Perth, just a little bit different from Switzerland. The big move propmted a new career and as such they both went back to school to learn, anatomy and physiology in a different language, a bit of a challenge !!
In 2002 they visited Tamborine Mountain to attend a workshop. The mountain reminded them of home and they loved it from that day on. The opportunity arose to move to Tamborine and open up a Healing centre – Massage clinic. This is how “the met centre” (Massage clinic, Education and Therapy centre) has been created.
Brigitte says..."The Mountain has always been known for surprises and it wasn’t any different for us. After being married more than 20 years, in 2004 our son Luca was born and so the family is complete".
"The purpose of “the met centre” is to be here for the people, to create and maintain a space where you our client feel at home, comfortable, safe and can relax. It may be for a chat, to get that special Incense you are looking for, a short 15 minute chair massage or for one of our longer sessions. Our door is always open for you".
Over the past 10 years Brigitte attended many different Massage courses. A never ending story about learning, changing and further education. She is an excellent Massage Therapist and holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage and Diploma in Reflexology. She is the main Massage therapist and likes to tailor your Massage according to your needs. You choose the pressure you feel comfortable with from Relaxation to working those tired sore muscles.
In January 2010, The Met Centre re-located. During that move Fortunat fell off a ladder and broke both writs....yes he did both! It was a long difficult path to recovery but finally he is well. The hands are the main tool of any massage therapist. Brigitte & Forti realised that event was more than an accident, it was a sign for a new path for Forti. He is exploring and doing different work for the time being.
